Because our premium services involve immediate digital activation and on-demand cloud computation, this Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines our clear, fair, and transparent guidelines regarding purchases, refunds, and subscriptions.

1. Nature of Digital Goods & Subscriptions

Subscriptions and licenses offered on Drishti AI include our Monthly Pro Plan ($2.99 / month) and our Lifetime VIP (BYOK) Plan ($19.99 one-time). These are digital software services delivered and activated instantly upon payment confirmation. Due to immediate license provisioning, cloud computing allocation, and perpetual access rights, plans are generally non-refundable once activated and utilized, except under the explicit conditions outlined below.

2. AI Computation & Media Services

Drishti AI Live Voice Calls, Vision Companion features, and media streaming tools involve real-time cloud computing, token processing, and server bandwidth:

• Immediate Server Computation: Every voice call, live session, and active conversation instantly consumes computing tokens and live WebSocket server bandwidth. Therefore, activated subscriptions are non-refundable once utilized.
• Subjective Experience: We do not offer refunds based on subjective personal preferences (such as AI voice tone, conversational style, humor, or personal opinions of AI responses). Users are urged to test these behaviors on the free tier before upgrading.
• Technical Resolution Commitment: If you experience any technical defect or server-side issue that prevents you from using premium features on your device, and our technical support team cannot resolve the issue within 48 hours of your report, you are entitled to a full refund.

3. Valid Situations for a Full Refund

We are committed to honest and ethical operations. A full 100% refund will be promptly issued under the following circumstances:

• Accidental Duplicate Transaction: If you were accidentally billed twice or submitted two payments via eSewa, Fonepay, or Khalti for the same subscription term, the duplicate payment will be refunded immediately upon verification.
• Prolonged Service Outage: If our backend servers suffer a total technical outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours where the service is entirely inaccessible, affected active users may request a full or pro-rated refund.
• Unfulfilled Activation: If your payment was completed but your subscription account or license key failed to activate within 24 hours and could not be verified by our team.

4. Ineligible Situations (No Refund)

• Changing your mind after actively using the service.
• Failure to test your device compatibility on our Free Tier prior to purchase.
• Violating our Terms of Service (e.g. attempting automated abuse, scraping, or spamming server APIs).
• Temporary external network issues, local ISP blockages, or slow personal Wi-Fi / mobile data connections.
• Third-party platform takedowns of specific external media links that violate copyright or have been deleted by their original creator.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you experience an accidental duplicate payment or encounter an unresolved technical failure within our guarantee window, submitting a refund request is straightforward:

Monthly Pro Subscriptions: Drishti AI monthly plans ($2.99 / month) do NOT silently auto-debit your bank account or digital wallet. When your 30-day period expires, your account automatically reverts to the standard Free Tier. You only pay when you personally choose to renew.

Lifetime VIP (BYOK) Plan: The Lifetime VIP license is a one-time single payment ($19.99) granting perpetual VIP software access with zero recurring monthly subscription charges. You provide your own custom AI API key to power direct model calls without server quota limits.
